There is alot of Open Source FREE CMS could used to publish the medical informations with alot of Modules and Plug ins could used as media Publisher , web links indexing , Forums , Galleries ..
Wikis , there is many wikis available with more features as tWiki ..
for me i used Wordpress as my CMS Platform changing it to My port folio and News Aggregator i used at medpeek.com
Transforming it to Sources CMS for Web Links , Media , Podcasts .etc .. but that may cost some development experience
