Well , I have to say am impressed , that CDC has accounts in almost all the famous and usable social networks , Its not just useful service that CDC provides , its also a part of CDC public awareness program , news publishing ( which is more helpful than going through the CDC site itself ) , plus providing the people more communicable and interactive way to interact with CDC materials and news .
CDC Notifications and Twitter :
Twitter is becoming a reliable news channels provider , especially when major players as news and media networks agencies has their own news channels their , however CDC is providing 3 Twitter notification news channels :
CDC is providing interesting Data about their Twitter activities including their updates numbers , and followers .
CDC Facebook page :
CDC facebook page is quite popular . over 25.329 fans and the number is keep growing , CDC facebook’s page is quite important because it reflects how the people interact , Facebook users , are submitting Videos , Materials and writing a comments on CDC`s page .
But also CDC has interesting Disclaimer ” Posted comments and images do not necessarily represent the views of CDC. ”
CDC Myspace :
Well as am not a fan of Mysapace , CDC`s Myspace page looks professional , however , its quite different than Facebook one as they are more interested to simplified the orginical CDC links in their Myspace page , as well as providing Badges along with their twitter channels as well .
CDC`s Youtube Channel :
Youtube is also a landing web site for almost all famous Media networks , CDC has already submitted about 60 videos there with over 192.827 channel views , which i consider it low number regarding the quality of videos and topics included , CDC joined about 19 April , 2007 , which also popup the question : Why just 60 videos in about 3 years ? .
CDC Youtube channel is also providing their site sub-links in their Youtube page ! same as they did in their MySpace page .
CDC`s Gallery at Flickr :
CDC is using their Flickr photostream to publish their brochures , along with some related photos as well , mostly about some activities of CDC “National Influenza Vaccination Week ” and some H1N1 pictures . Its not that rich gallery .

DailyStrength.org is a health socialnetwork , personally i didn’t like it , as a doctor , but CDC is keep trying to reach the public , as CDC consider DailyStrength.org important to create a group in .

As am in linux i don’t have iTune to access iTune links .

Well CDC Has an Island on Secondlife , Seems the interest of CDC to widen their audience circle is up to the roof , to consider VR important as other Social services .
