ESP : is an open source Electronic medical record data analysis to identify and report patients with notifiable diseases to  to the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.

ESP as an EMR  includes diagnoses, procedures, laboratory test, and treatment information, as well as patient demographic data.

Development note :

ESP is built with Django the Python web development framework , means it can be installed on Windows , Linux or Mac OSX or any other system as if Python and Django installed .

One of the most advantage of Django it can works with many databases servers , which giving the user the choice to choose from any server , also its modular framework , which means experienced django developer  can extend ESP with their own modules adding new features and functionalities .

ESP team did a great job in documenting the project listing deployment instructions , hardware requirements even system administrator experience and skills needed .

ESP is clearly needs geek skills in order to deploy , install and use it , though its not that simple for simple or unexperienced users to handle all those technical details for setting up ESP server .
