LinuxForClinics : Medical Ubuntu Project !

LinuxForClinics is a project by AllanMacKinnon Hosted at SourceForge.net , aimed to build , maintain , support as well as produce medical Ubuntu Packages in form of an Ubuntu based distribution .

The Linux For Clinics Project’s goal is to provide a Linux-based OS with a complete software package aimed at medical professionals and hospitals as a free and complete alternative to expensive proprietary software. We are using Ubuntu as the base.

Medical packages included :
* GNUmed Version: Client  / Server .
* OscarMcMaster .
* FreeMed .
* MirrorMed .
* OpenEMR .
* OpenClinic .
* Care2x Version .
* ClearHealth PM/EMR .
* WorldVistA EHR .
* PatientOS .
* Aeskulap .

The project is in alpha release as well as its Alpha2.ISO release were more than year ago .
