Medical and healthcare related social news portals and social bookmarking services

There is some social bookmarking services and social news those targeting the medical and health care fields , however , many are not well known , some are just tryout of medical students and some users . though recently there are new lunched one which targeting the researchers .

Connotea is providing search capability for their database of shared and submitted materials , with rich documentation about the service and good support .

Health Fitness Channel at Propeller.com : its an active category for Propererller social news service ,Which is daily updated with most recent news considering health and fitness .

Healthranker : another health social news service , which is active and usable by many users .

2Collab : is a project for researcher to share their submit , share and organize , Other word its a scientific social bookmarking service .

Peerclip.com : Is a social network and social bookmarking services for Physicians and medical students as well as researchers , allow the user to bookmark links , resources , articles through simple few clicks with Firefox extension , however its still a new service . but its promising as the first one that targeting medical field and combine social networking and bookmarking features .

Dissectmedicine : a collaborative medical news website, service for medical issue , news , articles and resources . the main domain Dissectmedicine.com is not active currently but it has other ports to German and Spanish and currently they are active .

Medinews.co.uk Social news website , that covers , rate and , publish the most recent and current medical news .

onexamination.com social news : Collaborative medical news , allows voting , commenting and and categorize the submitted news .

Citeulike is a free social bookmarking service for managing and discovering scholarly references .
