There are many social networks that allow the users to create their own groups , sub communities and networks , such as Facebook.com , Linkedin.com , and others .

Some other social services as social bookmarking , social photo sharing , and social videos allow the user to connect through people of the same interests .

That connectivity has powered up sharing resources , opinions  and discussions over the past few years , though there was no specially dedicated community or forums for medical or health informatics .

Right now there are 3 specially dedicated social networks  for medical informatics and special topics regarding informatics as well :

  • Healthinformaticsforum.com a social network and community for dedicated for health informatics it contains  media uploading Video , Audio , and Photos also has Forums .Its created by Chris Paton .

The forum is active and has pretty nice , useful discussions :

There are many videos there as well , interviews , seminars , conferences , and reviews .The blog is an active
