Medical Software development resources Series #01 : Open source web2.0 frameworks .

Web2.0 Frameworks for developers ,its about productivity and usability , there are hundreds of those frameworks , either made for developing a complete web applications , or make an interactive web project .

Though in here , I’ll List the most commonly frameworks  , used , and community supported as well with more resources ( videos , tutorials , blogs , news , articles ) . That i’ll do here to make a priority for those frameworks .

Open source web2.0 frameworks :

RubyOnRails , Rails , ROR
:

It built on top of Ruby programming language . Its my favorite , – so far – web application development , it has speed , productivity , usability and easibility , simple to learn and has a wide supportive community as well , which is resources rich .

Django :

a python web development framework , speed , simple , and outstanding easy to learn, if you are a familiar with Python before ( many doctors do ) , it could be your first choice for development a server based applications .


Seaside
:

is a Smalltalk based web application framework , provided many rich info to start up with it , even though many documents as well , not that famous as RubyOnRails ot Django .

ErlyWeb:

is ErLang web based framework , which is very young , fresh and small with extensible power to reduce your production time . still not that much resources . but its good to go .

ErLang , is originally developed by : By Ericsson Computer Science Laboratory

There are Hundreds , but am considered to add the common first . and those who many doctors could  use the old programming languages since med school .
