MedSphere.org New medical community with a new preservative !

I have seen many medical communities and social networks so far most of them are dedicated for health-care area through medical prescriptive , as they are targeting doctors , medical students . some of them are in area of interest of Patients for easy communication with specialists and doctors , and some are educational communities

But its rare to find a community that involves Developers along with their projects ( especially open source projects ) in the same page .

Medsphere.org :  is a community dedicated for Health care administrators , doctors , nurses and developers . Doctors are there by Specialties so far . also developers are joining the club in projects section , which will be a good medium for sharing , supporting their projects .

It may be well organized community , but it also may look inactive , may be thats because its new , with quite limited number of contributers and members ( close to 600 members , with about 500 blog posts and over 71.600 downloads so far ) .

MedSphere.org is a free community there is No fee for registration and contribution , anyone can register and contribute .

Currently MedShere.org in its projects section has a set of projects there including OpenVista Server and CIS , OpenVista Appliance along with other projects there , however it’ll be very useful platform for providing support regarding the end-users will find it easier to submit their tickets or ask their questions in known platform / style rather than using ordinary ticketing systems which is so Developer friendly rather than end-user friendly .

MedShere.org also has very useful tools in their homepage regarding the specific usage of the community :

  • Search the community ,
  • Asking a Questions ,
  • Browsing the community ,
  • and Introduction to the community ( Tour ) .

Well it looks promising but i hope it’ll include the other Health care related projects as well to find all what the end-user needs in one place , and make it easier to track the progress and usage of medical and health care projects .
