Opendental is an open source but commercial project as developed to provide an EMR database for dental clinics , Its built up with .Net technology so its basically run on Windows platforms , There is no Mono port for it so its not available yet for Linux and Mac OSX platforms : link .

Opendental team provides commercial support , training and installation , the trial version is available but it requires special requirements to be installed on some certain windows versions .
