OpenOffice is the real alternative for Ms.Office , its free , open source , run on windows , linux , mac osx . and it contains the basic applications which in Ms.Office as well .
OpenOffice Handles the templates more easier than Microsoft office , however the fear of incompatibility with Microsoft windows dose exist anymore , cause it handle Microsoft office documents easily . OpenOffice also export your documents to certain formats as PDF for your writer documents , SWF for your presentation , CVS for your spreadsheet , as well as exporting them to special versions and editions of Microsoft office .
